Terms of use

CostSlice is a pass-through proxy plus a customer P&L. You keep your OpenAI API key. You change base_url and send x-cs-key. We report LLM cost against the plan you set. We do not cap or block traffic. If we are slow we still proxy. A missing tag never drops the completion.

Starter is $0, 10,000 requests per month, 7-day retention, 1 seat, hard cap, no credit card needed. Pro is $79 per month, 250,000 requests, 90-day retention, unlimited seats, overage $6 per 100k requests. Scale is $199 per month, 2,000,000 requests, 365-day retention, same overage. The pricing page wins if a number here is stale. Paid plans renew until you cancel. Cancelled service runs to the end of the paid period.

OpenAI fulfills the model call with the OpenAI API key you provide. OpenAI’s terms apply to that call. We never hold your OpenAI API key. We never store prompt or completion bodies. If we are slow we still proxy. A missing tag never drops the completion. You are the deployer of any AI feature in your own product. Media Yard LLC is not the provider of that AI system. You need a work email and you must be 18. Magic link is how you sign in. You are responsible for tags you send and for people you invite. Do not put personal data, secrets, or medical identifiers in tenant, feature, or env tags. Do not use CostSlice to break the law, to probe other workspaces, or to overload the proxy. We may suspend an account that does.

Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar law applies to usage metadata you send through the proxy, Media Yard LLC is the processor and you are the controller. The DPA is incorporated by using the service. You do not need a wet signature for it to apply. Email hello@ from the account email if you need a countersigned copy.

Paid plans are billed by Stripe in US dollars. Starter is $0. No credit card needed. Fees are exclusive of tax we are required to collect.

The P&L is a report from the tags you send. Media Yard LLC is not SOC 2 or HIPAA certified. CostSlice is not legal, tax, or pricing advice, and it is not an AI gateway, router, cache, or virtual-key vendor. The service is provided as available.

To the extent the law allows, Media Yard LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, and total liability for a claim is the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero on Starter). Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any right that UK or EU law says we cannot limit. If a mandatory consumer or data-protection right conflicts with this paragraph, that right wins for that claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or the EU AI Act applies of its own force. If a court has to hear a dispute that New York can hear, it will be in New York. We will email notice of material changes to the work email on the account.
