About CostSlice
We exist so teams that sell AI can see which customers lose money on the OpenAI bill. Then they change the price.
Why we exist
OpenAI sends one bill. It does not show cost per customer. Finance cannot raise a price from a company total. Product cannot tell which feature is expensive. CostSlice exists to show that row: this customer, this month, unprofitable.
What CostSlice is
CostSlice is a pass-through OpenAI proxy and a customer P&L. Keep your OpenAI API key. An engineer points your product at us and puts the customer name, and the feature name, on each request. We count tokens. You see cost versus what they pay.
We do not store what people type, or what the model writes back. We do not train on that traffic. Today this is OpenAI only. Claude and other models come later. Starter is free. No credit card needed.
What we are not
We are not an AI gateway. We do not route between models, cache completions, or issue a virtual key. That is a different product. We show OpenAI cost per customer so you can change a price.
